Girolamo appears in the Nule "matricola" records for the first time in this same year, described in those records as a "maestre" or expert in some sort of skill. These two attestations are currently the earliest pieces of documentary evidence we have for any Ruffini ancestor. Girolamo Ruffinu married Maria Masala in Nule in 1790. Girolamo appears in the Nule "matricola" records for the first time in this same year, described in those records as a "maestre" or expert in some sort of skill. These two attestations are currently the earliest pieces of documentary evidence we have for any Ruffini ancestor. The record of this marriage tells us that Girolamo's parents were Domenico Ruffino and Maria Siana (?).
Girolamo's children from this marriage include Luigi Ruffinu, muratore and Giuseppe Ruffinu.
