Itchak Rivkin and his wife Chaya

Itchak Shloymovich Rivkin, son of Shlyoma Rivkin and Unknown, was born in 1885 in Krichev, Belaruss and died in 1957 in Kiev at age 72.

In World War II, in 1943, he changed his name to Issac Solomonovich because he lost his passport and was through his son Arkadiy’s connections able to change information on the new one. He evacuated from Krichev on 17 July 1941 with his wife to Taishet, where they stayed for a month. Then Arkadiy found them and took them to Lower Tagil, Ural, where they stayed until the end of the war. Issac worked for hire for his father.

Itchak married Chaya Woolfovna Assimova. One child from this marriage was Arkadiy Issacovich Rivkin.
