Amelia Johnson, daughter of Luther Hunt Johnson, appears as Amelia Neihart in many of the documents relating to Ida Jane Johnson's guardianship. Amelia was Lee Neer's mother's half-sister; Peggy remembers that he did not like her, and thought she was mean. She and her husband Noah Neihart had custody of Ida in the 1870 federal census entry.
