John Eugene Kirkland

John Eugene Kirkland was born on October 10, 1964. He is the son of Lee Quinlan. He is married to Vicky Oster. Their daughter is Allyson Kirkland.

John Eugene Kirkland only son of Lee Quinlan and Thomas Dale was born on October 10, 1964 in
Bakersfield, California.  John grew up all over, from Bakersfield to Oakland.  John graduated from
Bishop O‘Dowd High School in Oakland, Ca.  John played high school football and college ball at
Laney College in Oakland.  After college John decided to join the U.S. Army and was stationed in
Germany.  He returned to California and to Milton where his folks lived, went back to school and
got a math degree and his teaching credential.  During the time that John was doing some work in
San Francisco he met Vicky Oster at the McDonald’s on Market Street where he would stop in the
mornings and get breakfast.  Vicky was there every day.  They fell in love and married and had
their lovely daughter Allyson.  Vicky keeps the home fires burning and also helps out doing yard
duty at Allyson’s school.  John is crazy about music and loves the Beatles.  He retains lots of
musical trivia about old time rock and roll… Rock on John!!
