Noah was the husband of Amelia Johnson. In a letter, Peggy Reins points out that the Neiharts were neighbors of the Neers in Melbern, Williams County. I have not personally verified this marriage, but take Noah's first name from Peggy's correspondence with Catherine Ruth Clark, who was researching the Neiharts.
