Maria Piana, wife of Domenico Ruffino, appears in the marriage record of her son Girolamo Ruffinu in the top two pictures on the right, and in the death record of her daughter Nicoleta Ruffinu in the third picture on the right. That death record gives her full name as Maria Francesca Piana. In both records she is described as being of the city of Sassari. Searches of the Sassari church records for her uncovered a Maria Piana and a Maria Francesca Piana, with no way to be certain that either is a match for our ancestor.
