Sassari death records shown at right record the death in Santa Caterina parish in 1793 of a Ioannes Ruffino son of Girolamo Ruffini of Naples and Maria Caterina Pinna. Since Girolamo's wife was Maria Caterina Muchedda, and since her mother's name was Pinna, we may presume that for Maria Caterina Pinna the death records meant Maria Caterina Muchedda and that this Ioannes was the son of the painter from Naples.
