Nicolo Ruffinu (b. c. 1828)

In 1870, entry 35 in the Ozieri civic rolls record Nicolo Ruffinu Coloru di Luigi, born in Nule but residing in Ozieri, declaring that on July 30 of the previous year in his paternal house in Biddanoa his son with Agostina Pala Pinna di Gavino, a two-year old named Giuseppe Ruffinu (d. 1869) died. The entry immediately following, number 36, reports the same Nicolo, described as a contadino, recording the death of a newborn named Giuseppa Ruffinu on October 7 of the previous year. In 1871, entry 87 in the Ozieri civic rolls records Gavino Pala Lisai son of the late Antonio, age 64, a contadino of Ozieri, declaring that his grand-daughter Grazia Ruffinu Pala, son of Nicolo and Agostina, both living, died at the age of 4 in the house of the declarant at Strada detta Biddanoa.
