Emelie Meoqui

Emelie Marie Mandras, 88, was born August 14, 1920 in Stockton, CA to Peter and Marie Meoqui, and passed away, September 30, 2008. Emelie was a lifelong Stockton resident and attended local schools. Emelie loved Stockton and was a homemaker.

She was the beloved wife of the late August Mandras. Devoted mother to Joyce Ann Wright (Jim Navarec) and larry Paul Mandras (Terry). Loving grandmother of Christopher Wright (Michelle), Traci Shock (Shawn), Larry Mandras (Nicole), Rene Mandras and great grandmother to Courtney Wright, Megan Wright, Maxwell Shock and Bella Mandras. Dear sister of Helen Bisio and loving friend to Pat Gabbard. Emelie's family would like to thank her caregivers, Arleigh Villanueva, Cecil Jimenez and her physician, Dr. Taymour Malak for their loving care and support during her final illness.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate the Rosary, Sunday, October 5, 2008 at the DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, CA at 3:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be Monday, October 6, 2008 at DeYoungs at 11:00 a.m. There will be visitation at the DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, CA, Saturday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at the San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
