The "Remote Ancestors" category includes people who we have not researched ourselves, as opposed to people in the "Ancestors Category:Ancestors" category, whose entries we have researched and written ourselves. We include information about the "Remote Ancestors" we have obtained in bulk from other sources (e.g. the Bowlby Family Organization or French-Canadian genealogical collections) without verifying the material first-hand.
