 Luigi is the son of [[Girolamo Ruffinu]] and [[Maria Masala]]. He first appears in the Nule "matricola" records in 1795. Since there do not appear to be matricola records for 1794, and since he is not present in those for 1793, we may put his birth in c. 1793-1795.
