Conrad Neer Senior was born about 1710, most likely in Germany, although some sources say Pennsylvania. He died about 1790 in Loudoun Virginia about age 80.

Conrad Neer Senior and Junior purchased 96 acres of land in Shelbourne Parish in Loudoun County, VA in 1787. There is a crossroad village of Neersville, 5 miles from Harpers Ferry. Our late cousin, Warren Edger Everhart wrote that 17 families of Neers, all related, left Loudoun County, VA from 1805 to 1920 and settled in Champaign and Clark counties in OH. Information from "Neer Kindred" by James Roger Gammon, Natalie Neer Smith, Marain F. Case, Eric, Conrad, Mahlon Neer and others.

ancestry.com lists a marriage record for Conrad to Nancy (?) in Virginia, but cites a secondary source database, so this information still needs to be verified.

Also it is noted that Boyer’s Passenger List, page 40, lists:

Philipp Naher, wife Sophie Hujet, to America 1741

Philipp Nair, to America, 1742, in Rupp, p152

Phillipp Nair to America, 1741, Strassburger, 1,320

Conrad married Nancy Neer about 1745 in Virginia.

Children from this marriage were:

Barbara Neer;

Elizabeth Neer;

Sarah Neer;

Philip Neer, who was born about 1746 (in Germany, Pennsylvania or Virginia) and died in Champaign, Ohio;

Henry Neer;

John Neer who was born about 1750 in Loudoun Virginia; and

Conrad Neer Junior who was born about 1752 and died on 26 July 1829 about age 77.
